Garden Supplies FAQs
I’ve never had a garden before. Where should I start?
Perhaps the most important phase in the whole gardening process is
the planning phase. If you plan correctly, you can map out what kinds
of plants, fruits or vegetables you would like in certain places of
your garden. If you simply start digging without much forethought, there
is almost a 100 percent guarantee that your garden will not end up looking
like you wish it had. In order to get planning ideas, you can visit
the local nursery, ask friends and neighbors who own gardens or continue
to peruse this site.
What kinds of “extras” should I have in may garden?
The need to have “extras” depends a lot on for what purpose
you are planting your garden. If the sole purpose is to grow and cultivate
food, then it might not really matter to you if there are any extras
or not. But, if you plan on entertaining people by your garden, then
you may want to have some things out there that are attractive and interesting.
Many people choose to use statues in their gardens for this purpose.
Statues can be cement or concrete or bronze. It all depends on your
tastes and your budget.
What are the most important supplies to have in my garden?
This is a loaded question. The fact is that the importance of a piece
of equipment depends on its usefulness in any particular garden. A hoe
could be very important in one garden, but maybe not so much in another.
However, having said this, chances are that every gardener is going
to need at least a shovel or two, so a shovel would be the best place
to start.
