Garden statues

The fact is that garden statues are fun to look at and look great, but aesthetics may not even be as important as other things - like choosing the right material.
Even though most people tend to make and buy statues that are made from stone, the use of resin has started to rise as well in the past few years.

If stone and resin are not exactly what you are looking for, you may even want to consider looking into purchasing a bronze statue. These are nice because they glimmer and shine in the sun. On the other hand, they can be quite expensive.

If you have statues that could be damaged from inclement weather, you may want to make sure that you are making an effort to cover them up or get them out of the way before this weather strikes. You can buy statues made of cement or concrete. While they are not as attractive, they are a bit cheaper.

Cheaper, however, does not mean more durable. Concrete and cement tend not to last as long as other materials. Chances are that these materials would not hold up and they just won’t be as beautiful as you would hope for as long as you would like.

These are nice to place in your garden, but can also often be found in places like cemeteries.

There are some kinds of garden statues that are popular, but a little less than ordinary. For instance, if you are into mythical creatures or mythology there are mermaids, cyclops and also a variety of other kinds of creatures available.

The final choice of garden statues should depend on what you feel comfortable with, what you like, what you can afford and what will hold up when bad weather strikes.
